So I definitely stole this idea from one of my favorite websites (Slashdot.org).  What would you do if you were elected President of the great U.S.of A.?  Here's what I've come up with so far:

 What I would do as President:
-Repeal DMCA, Patriot ACt, and other fear based legislation
-Remove corporate influence from the Governement
-Remove "pork" from legislation
-Try to push actual Diplomacy and Foreign Relations to bring our troops home and help make the world a better place
-Add Adendums to the Bill of Rights/Constitution declaring:
    -Right to defend life and property (aka "Castle law")
    -Consumer "Fair Use"
    -Legalize Reverse Engineering and modification of one's property
-Develop and implement a more fool proof Voting system
-Re-focus the Country on advanced R&D, science, mathematics, and reading
    -Truly PUSH for alternative energy sources
    -Reduce energy use!!
    -Move the country to Energy Independence
-Increase the health of the people through better nutrition and health care
    -Healthy eating habits
    -Locally produced/Organic foods
    -Universal health care
-Institute a compassionate but Intelligent government ruled by Common sense
-Encourage the rest of the world to like us through helping other countries with their problems: agriculture, energy, etc.
-Move to the Metric system
-Standardize on the English Language
-Try to re-balance the wealth of the nation through education and R&D programs
-Revise Social programs to not be handouts but truly need and merit based programs.  
-Reduce prison populations/develop alternate rehabilitation programs
-Slim and streamline governement operations wherever possible especially through IT and other Technology based initiatives
-Ban plastic bags
-Drastically increase Recycling (especially in e-waste)
-Promote more urban planning and mass transit (high speed rail anyone?)
