To me, there are three things we all should do every day. We should do this every day of our lives. Number one is laugh. You should laugh every day. Number two is think. You should spend some time in thought. And Number three is, you should have your emotions moved to tears, could be happiness or joy. But think about it. If you laugh, you think, and you cry, that’s a full day. That’s a heck of a day. You do that seven days a week, you’re going to have something special.

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you
pay too much, you lose a little money -- that is all. When you pay too
little, you sometimes lose everything, because the thing you bought was
incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do.

...patience, combined with self-improvement, can be a sign of strength.  Panic never is.

Make no little plans, they have no magic to stir man’s blood.

A guy and a girl can be just friends, but at one point or another, they will fall for each other... maybe temporarily, maybe at the wrong time, maybe too late, or maybe forever.

They that can give up essential liberty for temporary security deserve neither.

Never give up on something you can't go a day without thinking about.

Never allow someone to be your priority while you're just their option.
